Haley Bennett joins us for the second SciSalon@BlueTavern September 18 at 7PM to talk about invasive plant species. This is a must-see for gardeners and nature lovers in our community!  Her talk teaches us how to identify these common plants in Tallahassee’s landscape along with successful practices for removal. As she discusses their impacts on the environment, she also gives suggestions for native replacements. Haley served in Americorps specializing in the eradication of invasive species at Maclay Gardens State Park and other parks across the state. She currently provides peer education at Native Nurseries.
