Event Details

Conservation Pathways is a local nonprofit that serves high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in conservation. They work with students from many backgrounds and interests to develop field research, communication, and professionalism skills. Through these activities they also provide field trips to organizations and school groups to learn regional ecology, and help other non-profits fulfil their missions. Come hear the Executive Director, Rebecca Means, talk about the work Pathways does in the community, the many pathways to conservation, and how you can get involved. Conservation Pathways interns also will be there to talk about their experiences with research projects like indigo snake reintroduction, Apalachicola River slough restoration, and more!
