Come “Learn and Explore” with Dr. Lambert Kanga Dr. Lambert Kanga, FAMU Professor and Director of The Center for Biological Control in the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences, will present the upcoming TSS “Learn and Explore.” The title of his talk is “The Honeybee: One of Man’s Oldest Insect Friends.” Dr. Kanga will introduce us to the history and uses of the honeybee and discuss the challenges facing their survival, and his research into the health of the species. The Center for Biological Control, established in 1999, is a unique partnership between FAMU, the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), and the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).
